A bright birthday surprise

Hi folks,

Today I have a birthday card for an adorable two year old girl - we're attending her birthday party a little later today.

I used "A Surprise Cheer" from PaperWorksCo as well as papers and ribbon from the June PaperCard Kit from PaperWorksCo. It is no longer available, but I do believe the patterned papers are from Doodlebug Designs. Aren't they the cutest? As it happens, this week's challenge at Raise the Bar is to make a card featuring Baked Goodies. Since the image has a cake and one of the papers has cupcakes, I'll be submitting this card to that challenge.

I coloured the image with Copic Markers (Y21, Y11, T1, RV10, RV11, RV13, G14, G12, E31, E21, E00) and cut it out with my Spellbinders Labels Eleven. The sentiment is from the CTMH Solos "2" set and was cut out with Spellbinders Petite Circles.

The layout is from this week's sketch at Friday Sketchers.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend - whether you get to craft or not!
