Hi folks,
Over the next several days, I'll be sharing my makes from the current CTMH Craft with Heart Cardmaking Subscription. As with the previous kit, I tried to stay true to the initial design for half of the cards and then switched it up for the second one.
I have to say that the birthday cake shaker cards are among my favourites in this kit. I didn't do much to switch it up with this one - I just used two different sentiments from the exclusive stamp set included in the kit.
I'm loving the look of shaker cards and REALLY need to make more time to use all of the shaker appropriate dies I have to spruce up my hand made cards.
As always, thanks for stopping by!

January CTMH Cross Canada Blog Hop
Hi folks!
Welcome to our January Cross Canada Blog Hop featuring the Spruced Up collection from Close To My Heart. Whether you are a scrap-booker or card-maker, this collection has something for you.
If you've just hopped onto my blog, then you CAN start here as this is a circular hop, but if you want to follow us across Canada, then please start at the beginning at Michelle's blog. If you came from Rosalynd's post then you are in the right place!
The first card I made with this collection was actually a Christmas card for my spouse.
It came together very quickly using the wooden embellishments and one of the stickers from the sticker sheet. I stamped my sentiment onto the sticker et Voila!
Among the two dozen cards I have (so far) made with this collection, these are a few more of my favourites.
I love the Thin Cuts die set that coordinate with this collection. Quite a few of the cards I made with this collection feature the birds, the branches, and the pine cones. I used a mix of stamps from the coordinating stamp sets and a few retired sets as well - and quite a few of the stickers from the sticker sheet.

That's it for me! Up next is Brandi.
