Celebrating a 9th birthday

Hi folks!

Just thought I would pop in over the next few days to share a few cards I have made recently for the many occasions that have been celebrated the past few weeks. It's been quite a whirlwind!

Up first is this card I made for one of my nieces - she celebrated her 9th birthday on the day I arrived back in Newfoundland for a visit.

I used retired Mix-in papers from CTMH from earlier this year. I just love those pops of pink and aqua with the black and white. With every idea book, CTMH releases a set of mixin papers that coordinate with the current collections. I find them VERY versatile and often use them standalone. CTMH Mix-ins Birthday Wishes

I was feeling quite crafty this past weekend and put together these cards using the Mix-Ins papers from the current Seasonal Expressions Idea Book.

Six quick cards ready for when I need them.

In addition to the papers, I also used

• whisper thick twine 
• grey gems
• black enamel stars 
• raspberry ink 
• lagoon ink
