Hi folks,
Just stopping in to share another card I made using the "Live Beautifully" papers from Close To My Heart. Get them while you can - they are only available for the month of May!
I also used a sentiment and banner die cut from the CTMH "Little Dreamer" stamp and Thin Cuts bundle. The heart is from the CTMH Basic Hearts Thin Cuts.
The image is from one of the older Miss Anya sets from The Greeting Farm and was coloured with Copic Markers.
As always, thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge 219 with Miss Anya
Hi folks,
I made it into my craft room today - it was MUCH too hot to do anything outside here in Ottawa - to make this card for one of my nieces who has a birthday this week. The card went into the post shortly after I finished making it - to Newfoundland - ExpressPost - again!

TGF Saturday Sketch Challenge #10
Hi folks,
a late night post for me as I had to get this card made for the birthday party we are attending tomorrow for one of my dearly beloved's nieces. We will be celebrating her 8th birthday.
I used the TGF Saturday Sketch Challenge from last Saturday (deadline midnight tonight for entries) so I am cutting it really close! I flipped the sketch on it's side to accommodate this new (to me) Miss Anya Garland image.
Isn't she sweet? And she looks so much like our niece!
(E.T.A. - I was the lucky random winner for this sketch challenge! Yay! I get to choose a new single rubber stamp from TGF to add to my collection!)

- Spellbinders Petite Circles
- Half-back pearls were coloured with my YR02 marker to make them all matchy-matchy with the papers.
Hope you are all having a lovely weekend! So far my entire week has been go-go-go. I am SO looking forward to finally getting to relax on Sunday and Monday. And by relax I mean I am considering tackling the mess that is my craft room! If you are a friend on Facebook, then you saw the picture of my desk that I shared today after finishing the Easter cards. EEP!

New to Me for FFF
Hi folks,
So I'm into Day Three of my time off and just want to say thanks to everyone for your birthday wishes the last couple of days. I'm organizing a bunch of my favourite products for a little birthday blog candy and am just waiting on a few things to arrive in the post. Keep your eyes peeled on the blog-arooni as I will likely be putting up the post sometime in the next couple of weeks.
Anyways, today I was a bit more keen with getting on the go and was able to get to my craft room by late morning for some crafty-time after getting all my households chores out of the way. I stamped up a bunch of my "new-to-me" Greeting Farm images (I just got them earlier in March and finally got around to trimming them two weeks ago) for the first challenge over at the newly re-launched TGF Farm Fresh Challenge Blog - Miss Anya Hats Off (three of each of the three girls) and Cheeky Shooter (two of her). I managed to get the skin and hair coloured on all of them. I then chose two of them to make a couple of cards using this week's Pixie Cottage Sketch Challenge (#63).
This first card will be given to one of dearly beloved's nieces tomorrow for her birthday - I can't believe she is going to be 7! That's why I added the strip of numbers on the side with the arrow pointing to the 7.
Since Challenge 11 over at Crafter's Companion is to use Aqua and Brown on your card, I'll be submitting the first card to that challenge.
Not sure yet to whom this second card will be gifted. For now it will be in my stash.
I went with a little additional pop of colour on this one by using the pink side of one of the patterned papers above - which are from the "Life is Good" collection from Echo Park Paper Co.
And what do you think of my little embellie? I did a rolled paper flower from the patterned paper for a little something different - mind you it makes for a VERY THICK CARD! Definitely a gift by hand and not by post kind of card since it makes the card more than half an inch thick and the flower would be crushed by the mail sorting machines.
I'll be submitting this second card to the CCEE1113 challenge: no BUTTONS, BUCKLES, BOWS, BRADS.

Miss Anya sends you warm wishes
This is the last of the end of school year cards for my nieces and nephew.

I know ... orange and blue? I don't know something just called out to me with these two papers. Maybe it was the sketch that was influencing me. For this card I chose to use the CPS123 sketch.
Miss Anya was coloured using Prismacolor pencils and then mounted onto a dark blue background. I'm realizing as I look at the photo that I FORGOT to remove the white bits between her arm and her body. Oh well. Too late. Card went in the post today. I also framed out the image using some of the orange ribbon I used to separate the orange and blue papers.
And the card recipe is:
finished size: 4 x 5.5 inches
orange dp: 1 7/8 x 3.75 inches
blue dp: 3 3/8 by 3.75 inches
dark blue image panel: 2.5 x 4 inches
sentiment panel: 1 x 1 inches
sentiment mat: 1.25 x 1.25 inches
ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink Tattered Rose, CTMH Indian Corn Blue, Black
Prismacolor Pencil Colours: 939, 918, 912, 942, 941, 914, 997, 903
stamps: The Greeting Farm - Miss Anya, CTMH TLC (C1364)
embellishments: white ribbon, orange ribbon
