Thank you… now on to our hop!
I decided to make a few little notes of encouragement for my weight loss group this month. When folks weigh-in and record no change in their weight, we call it a "turtle". So, the Some Kinda Wonderful Card-making stamp set and Thin Cut dies were perfect for this little project!
I simply die cut the turtles from the green patterned paper and green PML card from the paper pack and I was already half way there! With just one sheet of coordinating card stock and half a sheet of patterned paper, I whipped up seven of these little note cards.
And now off you go to the next stop on the hop at Emily's Scrap Room.

April Cross Canada Blog Hop
Hi folks.
Welcome to the April Cross Canada Blog Hop featuring creations from across Canada using the Shinhan Touch Twin Markers from Close To My Heart. There are 24 colours available in addition to a colorless blender.
If you've arrived from Caroline's post, then you are in the right place. If you would like to start at the beginning and travel from the East Coast to the West Coast, then you can start here
Today, I'm sharing a collection of cards featuring these birds from the "Some Kinda Wonderful" Thin Cuts Cardmaking bundle. As you can see, I coloured them with an assortment of the Shinhan markers to match the colours in the paper collection.
And created this bunch of encouragement note cards.
And did you notice that complementary swoosh of colour on the sentiment? Yep - the markers aren't just for colouring. One of my favourite ways to use them is to add a pop of colour to an otherwise plain black stamped sentiment!
To purchase any of the items you see along the hop today, be sure to contact your local consultant!
Now, off you go to your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop - Sue's Sparkly Stampin.
If you get lost along the way, you can stop by Michelle's Blog as she has the entire list of this month's participants.
Thanks for hopping with us this month. Be sure to stop by again next month on the 15th when we will be featuring creations with our NEW favourite paper collections!

Some Kinda Wonderful Birthday
Hi folks,
Today I'm sharing a card I made with one of the new paper collections from Close To My Heart - "Some Kinda Wonderful"
This collection features some fun, bold, graphic papers - which I thought were perfect for a birthday card for one of our teenage nephews.
And did you notice the sentiment? It's the new "Happy Birthday" Thin Cuts die. Yippee! I'm expecting to use this one A LOT!
