Eat More Cake!

Hi folks,

Just thought I would pop in and share the cards I made to use up some of the lefotver stash of card kits I had prepped last year for a workshop.

These 17 cards all use the Blossom papers from CTMH. The papers are all the same shape and size but I just played around with their orientation and which side of the paper is visible. I also mixed up the sentiments that were used on the cards and the coloured inks that were used for accents.

So now I have a LOT of cards for my stash - or to sell for this year's fundraising for Light The Night!

It was great to get these card kits used up!

Another Birthday Celebration

Hi folks!

Just thought I would pop in and share a quick card I made yesterday with some of the left-over bits and bobs from one of the cards featured in my recent card-making workshop.

Since I have LOTS of leftover bits, you may be seeing a few posts of card sets I'll be making to use things up.

card details:

  • finished size: 4.25 x 5.5 inches, white daisy card stock base
  • patterned papers: CTMH "Blossom"
  • stamp set: CTMH Blossom Card-making Workshop set
  • embellishments: CTMH Glacier Twine, Coral Reef Sequins

Card Workshop in Support of Light the Night - Blossom

Hi folks,

As those of you who have been visitors for some time now know, for the last few years I have taken part in the Light the Night Walk in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada in honour of my Mom who is a survivor of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.

I keep intending to host a card making workshop (or two) to help with my fund-raising but I never seem to get around to it. This year, I hope to change all that.

These are some of the card samples using the Close To My Heart Blossom Card Making Kit that I have prepped in the hopes that some of my friends who have been clamouring for a workshop will want to come along and support this worthy cause. I've made a copy of the three cards from the workshop but I have also made my own variation of each card to show folks that they CAN change things up.
