Baby Balloon Animals

Just popping in to share a recent card creation featuring the CTMH February Stamp of the Month "Balloon Animals" (S1602)

When I saw this stamp set, something about it just said that it would be perfect for a baby card. So, I made this one, reminiscent of a fun baby quilt using the Kaleidoscope paper collection from CTMH.

Never too late

Just popping in to share another card I made at the Crop for Haiti for one of the challenges we had that day. This one is a card I made for a fellow member of our TOPS chapter who recently rejoined.

It's a little tongue in cheek but I'm sure she will get the humour behind it.

I wanted the white arrows and "today" on the overlay to pop a bit more so I layered some coordinating card stock and shimmer trim beneath them to highlight them a little more. I think it worked.

I also used a little more of the shimmer trim to attach the overlay to the card front.

Hello Baby!

Hi folks,

We finally got to meet our newest niece! Yay! She's two months old now and boy is she a cutie.

This is the little card I made to go with a little welcome to the family present we picked up for her.

Rather than colour the onesies on the front of the card, I decided to do a bit of paper-piecing. I think it worked out great!
