Growing in Unity - Day 2

Hi Everybody!

Welcome back for the second of my week long posts as the Growing in Unity Gal.

One of the things I LOVE about Unity Stamp Company is that there is something for everyone. As you saw in yesterday's post, if you like cheeky stamps - they've got you covered. Today, I'm sharing a couple of sympathy cards with simple, beautiful sentiments. I know none of us like to make cards for sad events but when you find yourself in need of just the right words for such an occasion, the folks at Unity have a wonderful array from which to choose.

Thanks for stopping by today. Don't forget to leave a comment below to be entered into the draw at the end of the week for 25 stamps from Unity Stamp Company. There will be TWO winners selected from all of the comments this week. I moderate the comments so you won't see your comment below until I approve it. And be sure to stop back tomorrow for my Day 3 post as the Growing In Unity Gal!

Hi folks,

I'm still working on posting the backlog of cards I have made the last little while so today I am sharing a card I made for a dear friend for her birthday.

I have to confess to loving this paper this much that I use it very sparingly. Isn't that terrible? Anyone else guilty of doing the same?

Viva La Verve March Week 1

Hi folks,

Long time no Viva La Verve posts from me! I haven't been much into crafting lately, well, much of anything truth be told. I'm actually in the midst of a Doctor ordered break from work due to massive burn-out from the stress I've been experiencing for the last year or so.

But I'm finally easing back into playing with the stamps and papers I love so very much so that means a return to my one of my favourite weekly challenges - Viva La Verve!!!!

My dearly beloved celebrated his 49th birthday last week so I grabbed the first sketch for the March Viva La Verve challenges and made this card to mark the day.

Clean and simple, with some fabulous papers from Prima.

Happy Thoughts

Hi folks,

Last weekend I attended a crop and, of course, there were a couple of vendors there. I always have to check out the supplies they have for sale to see if anything catches my eye. Patterned papers are absolutely my biggest weakness when it comes to crafting and the papers I used on this card definitely caught my eye. So much so that I bought the papers at the crop AND set to making this card right away!
