Have a Tea-rrific Mother's Day!

As promised I'm back with a couple more cards I made using the Dreamin' Big paper pack from CTMH.

With Mother's Day coming soon, the floral paper in the pack just begs to be paired with the March SOTM "Tea-rrific" to make a card for that special Mom in your life, don't you think?

And, I'm not sure why, but I'm in love with the gold and orange hued papers in this pack. I seem to be drawn to them whenever I make a card.

For this one, I went graphic in the style again and made great use of the Happy Birthday Thin Cuts (all Thin Cuts are on sale this month for 25% off!!!).

Can you tell that these two very different cards use the same layout? The layout is from the Make It From Your Heart Volume 2  Inspiration Book - pattern 19 on page 42.

Dreamin' Big - Just for You

I've decided to keep going with making cards from the Dreamin' Big paper pack from CTMH so I'll have a few more to share over the next few days - building up the stash!!!

Both of these cards use the same layout, I just mixed up the papers, embellishments and sentiments.

Today I have for you a couple of cards I made using this paper pack.

Up first is this masculine birthday card (for my younger brother). An quick an easy make. For the sentiment panel, I simply stamped the sentiment (from Birthday Sparkles) in black ink and then added a splash of colour with my Shinhan Touch Twin Marker in a coordinating colour.

And next I have a get well card using one of the mini stamps from CTMH.

And yes - that flower is NOT from the Dreamin' Big collection. It's actually from the retired Skylark line but I thought it coordinated so well with these papers that I just had to use it on the card. See - you CAN combine different collections!
