Age and Glasses of Wine

Hi folks,

I recently bought a bunch of Itty Bitty stamps from Unity Stamp Company and this card features one of the stamps I just had to have because....well...we have lots of friends who are wine enthusiasts. One of those friends had a birthday recently and I used one of my new stamps on her card.

WOYWW - April 6th

Hi folks,

so once again I am playing along with WOYWW, hosted by Julia over at the Stamping Ground

This is my desk as I finished up crafting last night....

Yes, I create in this mess. What's there to see?
  • an Easter Tilda card
  • the sketch I was using for the layout with my scribblings listing the Copics I used to colour the image and the rest of the supplies.
  • my list of Easter cards I need to make/have made. Happy to say MOST of them are done. I have less than ten to go now.
  • there's a plastic shoe box on the right with some of my completed Easter cards.
  • there's also a few scattered stamps I've been using on the cards as well.
So would you like to see the finished card?

Thanks for stopping by -- now you should go back to Julia's blog to check out everyone else who is playing along this week.

card details:
  • finished size: 6x6 inches

    Did you notice?

I finally got around to adding a little "yay me" on the side-bar. A while back, one of my cards was selected for the Top 5 for one of the Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Putting the little badge up has been on my to-do list for a while now and I got around to it tonight since I figured I wouldn't be crafting tonight. I also received in the post today my lovely prize from Melissa for making the top 5. I'm not totally telling what it is right now but I WILL be making an absolutely ADORABLE (if I do say so myself) fall/Hallowe'en card or two from the goodies she sent!

Thanks so much Melissa!!!! I highly recommend that if you don't already follow the blog that you check it out. It is on my list of ones not to miss!

    Tooting my own horn!

Lookie! Over at Tuesday Morning Sketches , my Carl the Cupcake card that i made for Noah was chosen for the Top 5 of the week!

    How cool is that!

And .... I've been following The Cuttlebug Spot for some time now (fabulous creations) and today I saw this post . Oh there will be some very cute cards made with the cute die cuts I won - a lemonade stand and a lemonade pitcher!

okay, enough tooting. I will be back at SOME point to show you all of the cards I gave to my friend Dorothy for her birthday. But I am still recovering from having made 12 cards Wednesday night, 3 cards Thursday night, 20 cards Friday Night/Saturday Morning and one card on Sunday.....yeah, my energy was sapped after Saturday.

    Carl for Noah

And this is the card for Noah - my friend Dorothy's nephew who is sharing a birthday party with her tomorrow. I believe he may be turning 10 years old.

For this card I used Sketch #3 from Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Carl is from Stamps and Smiles and was coloured with Prismacolor Pencils blended with Taltine. The image and sentiment panels were cut with nestabilities - circle, pinking circle and ovals.

The papers and ribbon are from my July PaperCard kit from PaperWorksCo.

The card measures 4 x 5.5 and the rest of the details are:
    Prismacolor Pencils 904, 906, 927, 929, 928, 946, 925, 913, 915

I hope Noah likes his card!
