CPS222 and WOTT

Hi folks,

well the image on this card is going to look a bit familiar. I had coloured up three of them and dearly beloved liked the card I did for my Dad for Father's Day so much that I wound up making the card for his Dad with the same image.

card details:

  • finished size: 4.25 x 5.5 inches
  • stamped image and sentiment: Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps "Shining Light", coloured with PrismaColor Pencils (938, 988, 1070, 1076, 1072, 1030, 1023)
  • patterned papers: Gartner Studios Bon Voyage Map
  • cardstock: CTMH Cocoa (the panel was embossed with a Cuttlebug Script folder), Bamboo, Kraft
  • Spellbinders: Petite Ovals
  • recycled twill ribbon, brown twine from Jillibean Soup
  • layout: CPS222
additional challenges for this card:

And since it is Tuesday and time for What's on Tap Tuesday (hosted by the CraftyFrugalista), here's a peek at my crafty spot after I finished up last night

You can see I actually did two cards - and one of them I realized I didn't do something consistently so I have to redo one little bit. That card will probably get posted later this week.

My table is it's usual mess - the way I like it!

Ta Ta for now.....see you again tomorrow with my project for this week's challenge over at the Pixie Cottage!

A Lily Bee Easter Card - CPS213

Hi folks,

Can you believe I am still not finished all of my Easter Cards for this year? Still have a few more to make. Here's another one I made today for a friend's little girl using this week's layout over at CPS

card details:
  • stamped image: Lily Bee from Pink Cat Studio, coloured with Copic Markers (E000, E00, E01, E93, E30, E31, E55, C9, C7, C8, Y00, Y02, Y04, Y06, Y19)
  • patterned papers: Cosmo Cricket Togetherness
  • I used my 5/8 inch hole punch for the red circles, corner round for the edge of the yellow and blue papers
additional challenges for this card:
Hope you are all having a lovely weekend! I'll be back tomorrow with a couple more Easter cards I made using this week's Sweet Stop Sketch.

Sticking with the Sunday Routine

Hi all....it seems I have become quite used to my "Sunday Routine" of playing along with Sparkle's Weekly Christmas Card challenge. So much so that, when I got up this morning and saw that the post was not yet up on the challenge blog, I checked out all the DT blogs to see if any of them had their post up yet! My stalking paid off as Shaela had her post up already! So challenge #17 is a tough one for me - no stamping (as I write this the post still is not up on the challenge blog so I hope it is okay for me to link these cards up when the challenge goes live). Had to give this one some thought while I started the rest of my Sunday morning routine (shower, starting laundry, groceries, making breakfast....continuing laundry) before heading up to the craft room.

Lucky for me, in my "box of Christmas stuff" I had some really old Christmas stickers from Karen Foster Designs. I pulled out last week's Card Positioning Systems Sketch (#210) and used it for the layout as it fit the big Christmas Tree tag sticker just perfectly.

As usual, I made two cards - bringing my total for this year to 36 Christmas cards already made! These two are actually being counted for my April CCC11 cards over at SCS as I have already finished up my March CCC11 cards with the four I did last week.

card details:
  • finished size: 4.25 x 5.5 inches
  • Karen Foster Designs "Stitched Christmas" Christmas Tree tag sticker (and no, I did NOT do the stitching - it's just the pattern on the sticker)
  • patterned papers: DCWV Holiday Collection "The Christmas Stack"
Additional challenges for this card:

Hope you all have a lovely day! Thanks for stopping by!
