Hi folks,
This year I once again have the privilege of being a "Growing in Unity" gal for a week. All this week, I'll be sharing my creations with stamps from Unity Stamp Co.
I have quite a varied collection of Unity stamps so I had a very difficult time choosing what I would feature this week - I love them all! So, I hope you are ready for some eclectic posts over the next five days.
For my first day I decided to share - a couple of BABY cards with you. 2017 seems to be the year of the newborn amongst our family, friends, and neighbours. So far, there have been four newborns and there is another one about to arrive!
If you need a quick baby card (or two), I love the set "Hello Little One". The solid, graphic, cute wee critters come together in a baby card in a jiffy.
And here's the two baby cards I made:
Very simple, little cards. One of these will look great paired with the baby quilt that is about to be gifted. The colours coordinate with the quilt fabric which was selected to coordinate with baby's nursery.
Now don't forget - be sure to leave a comment on this post if you would like to be entered into a draw to win a grab bag of 25 random stamps from Unity at the end of the week! I have moderation enabled on the blog comments so don't be alarmed if you don't see your comment right away - it will be visible once I approve it!
As always, thanks for stopping by!

Hello Lovely - Sending Smiles and Thanks
Hi folks!
I'm back today to share a couple more cards that I'm considering offering for an upcoming card workshop.
Once again, the cards feature the CTMH Hello Lovely collection.
Both cards are quick and easy to make - and post friendly! They both would be easily changed up for different occasions by switching out the sentiments.

Hello Baby!
Hi folks,
Just thought I would share with you, over the next few days, the cards that I am considering as cards to offer in a card-making workshop for a few friends of mine.
Up first are the two cards from the CTMH Hello Baby Card Making Workshop your Way featuring the Hello Lovely collection.
This first card is a Congrats on your baby card but I think it can easily be reworked into a Get Well card with a sentiment switch out or even a birthday card or sympathy card with a switch out of the images on the main panel.
This second card would make for a good all-occasion card, just to say hi. I can see switching out the large sentiment for a big happy birthday as well.
I love the soft colour palette with these papers.

Sewing Fun for a Birthday Girl
Hi folks,
Just thought I would pop in and share another Hello Lovely card.
One of our nieces just celebrated her 7th birthday and one of the other aunties thought it would be a great idea if we pooled our resources and got a sewing machine for the budding sewist. So, we all chipped in and got her a machine of her own so she wouldn't be borrowing her Mom's as she learned the ropes. I've already seen photos and a video of her sewing up a storm on her new machine so I think it was a definitely a well-received prezzie.
To go with her prezzie, I made this card. The quilters among you will recognize the background as a log cabin layout.

Team Brae-er's February Blog Hop - Hello Lovely
Hi folks
Welcome to our February Team Brae-er Blog Hop focusing on the all new Hello Lovely collection from Close To My Heart.
Here's a quick peek at the papers in the collection.
You will see creations from our team that may include stamp sets, patterned paper, inks, embellishments and more from the Close To My Heart Seasonal Expressions and Annual Inspirations Idea books. To purchase any of the items seen in our blog hop today, kindly contact your local consultant to place an order. HINT: to find your local consultant go to the CTMH Home office website, click on "What We Do", and then click on "Find a Consultant". Easy Peasy!
We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we really love feedback from our blog viewers....whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do....by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!
Since this is a circular hop, it doesn't matter where you pop in, so if you came here from Michelle's blog, that's great!
Today I'm sharing a couple of card duos.
This first pair uses the same layout - just in a different orientation.
And this second pair is the same layout, just a different sentiment on each of the cards to make them different.
Can I just say how much I LOVE the Thin Cuts Bundle for the Hello Lovely Card Making Stamp set? No fussy cutting that gorgeous floral stamp set. Yippee! Just die cut the image first, stamp away and off you go.
Did you notice the wee bit of shimmer on the cards? I know it's kind of hard to see but the grey roses and sprigs have actually been coated with the clear shimmer brush. I think they needed that little bit of shine to make them pop.
And now off you go to the next stop on the hop at Emily's Scrap Room! Enjoy!

Nature's Wish Birthdays
Hi folks,
I'm back again to share a couple of cards for some January birthdays.
This year I am going to try to commit to my usual "if I'm making one card, I may as well make multiples". I find it's a good way to keep to card stash supplied for those times when you might run out of time to make a card for an occasion.
I made the first of these two cards for my Dad for his birthday (today!!!)
And this second was sent to a friend. So I guess I didn't really add to my stash on this one after all. But that's okay - I needed the card!!
