Hello!!! Anyone out there?

Just popping in with a reminder that Yumi and Fumi Handmade has posted a Design Team Call.

You can find all the details at this link and you have until June 1st to toss your hat into the ring.

If you are a fan of fun, cute characters, then I would encourage you to apply. I already have several of their stamps in my personal collection - I just need to make the time to get them all inked up! I have found the images fantastic not just for the nieces and nephews, but also for the grown-ups. I am willing to bet that there are probably more than a few that you will look at that will make you go "Wow! That looks just like <insert name here> I HAVE to have that stamp." That's why I have so many of them.

Yes, I make a lot of Mother's Day cards. Not just for my Mom and dearly beloved's Mom and Step-Mother but also for each of our sisters and sisters-in-law who have kids. This card was for dearly beloved's sister.

Well, since I had the two other pieces sitting on my craft table from making this card, I decided I should use them to make another Mother's Day card - but opposite!

Seize the Birthday #14 - Feminine

Hi folks,

Well, I am back from my impromptu trip to Newfoundland and figure it is time to catch up on posting a few cards I made before my travels commenced.

I was somewhat pre-occupied during the trip with (a) my Dad's hip replacement surgery - he's recovering VERY well by the way.  AND (b) a vehicle mishap - no one hurt but Dad's minivan sustained some rear bumper and tail-light damage due to busted brake lines while I was backing out of my Aunt's driveway. Phew! More excitement than any of us was counting on that day!

Anyway, these are a couple of cards I made for two April birthdays - one for a dear friend and one for one of my cousins.

I quite like how the cards turned out. I think those buttons add just the pop of colour.
