Best Wishes for the Mr and Mrs

Hi folks!

Just popping in on this scorcher of a Canada Day to share a card I made for friends of ours who recently got married.

The arrival of my (sob) last order from Verve (they are shuttering their operations) coincided with the happy occasion so I was able to use these lovely freebie papers with a stamp from one of the sets I purchased.

It's fairly clean and simple so I jazzed it up a bit with a gold heart clip from CTMH.

A Birthday filled with Good Things

Just popping in to share another recent make - this one was a birthday card for my Mom.

I went mono-chromatic with this one. The lovely plaid papers were a freebie with a recent order from Verve. Sadly, they are shuttering their stamp business so that was my last order from them. The heart patterned paper, white shimmer trim, sequins (from the Making Waves collection I believe) and stamp (from the Festive Birthday cardmaking kit) are all CTMH - raiding my stash!

Happy 1st birthday

Hi folks,

Just thought I would pop in and share a couple of cards I made for nieces of ours that just celebrated their first birthdays - one from each side of our respective families.

I kind of cheated and made two cards that were pretty much identical - except for the arrangement of the balloons. But my card-making mojo has been in short supply lately so.....it is what it is.

In case you are wondering, the balloons are cut with the balloon die cut from the CTMH "Sweet Baby" set - I snapped it up during a recent flash sale and have NOT regretted it.

Of course, the "1" was die cut using the CTMH Block Numbers Thin Cuts - another versatile set and I do NOT regret having in my collection. It comes in handy for those milestone birthdays and anniversaries AND graduations.

The papers on the cards are a mix of different CTMH collections - mostly from the Whimsy palette I do believe. I wanted something fun and summer-y for those two little nieces.

Relax and Enjoy Your Day - CTMH Fresh Air

I was a little late out of the gate getting some of my June cards made this year, but they have finally been gifted and can now be shared.

These are the cards I made for Father's Day - the actual "Happy Father's Day" sentiment is actually inside the card (of course, I forgot to take a photo of the inside).

Beautiful Friendship - Bad Influence

Just popping in today to share another card using the "Beautiful Friendship" collection from CTMH.

Since this card was for one of my dearest friends for her birthday, I just had to use this sentiment from the Documented cardmaking stamps and Thin Cuts set.

I hope it made her chuckle.

The layout for this card was inspired by this month's Viva La Verve sketch.
