Father's Day 2019

Hi folks,

Just thought I would pop in and share the Father's Day cards I made this year.

I kept it simple - all four cards use the "Into The Wild" collection from Close To My Heart - I just played about with the paper choices and layouts. The sentiment is a mini - also from Close To My Heart.

2nd Birthday Times Two

Our two youngest nieces are both celebrating their second birthdays this month so I cheated and made two very similar cards for them.

I delved into my stash of very old 6" paper pads for these cards - an older collection from Amy Tangerine.

I have two birthday cards to share with you this month.

Up first is a relatively CAS (Clean And Simple) card. I added interest by using my Sugarplum Shimmer brush to colour the stripes on the balloons (from the May SOTM) and by angling the sentiment (also coloured with the shimmer brush).

For the second card I am sharing today I also used the May SOTM and used my Clear Shimmer Brush to add a bit of sparkle.

In case you're wondering the card stock used on the cards is the colour of the year - Sugarplum! It coordinates perfectly with this collection.

I have a few cards to share with you today and not one of them is baby themed.

Up first - this birthday card. The cute bunny from the Sweet Girl Complements was perfect for the friend who received this card.

Next? A graduation card for my niece. She's winding up her college program and I thought this was a cute card to celebrate the occasion.  For this one I used cute Hedgehog from the cut-apart sheet in the Sweet Girl Paper Pack.

And finally? All FIVE of this year's Mother's Day cards.

Happy Easter

Hi folks,

Just thought I would pop in and share the Easter card I made for dearly beloved this year.

The papers are the retired "Blossom" collection from Close To My Heart - this collection just says spring to me so I pulled some out for this card.

The stamps are "Pretty Easter Find" by Unity Stamp Co (I got them in a grab bag a few years back) with the image coloured with my CTMH Shinhan Markers. The fine points made it really easy to colour the fine details on the image.
