Ha!

So this is a post I tried to do last night but for some reason, my laptop or blogger or something wasn't co-operating.

I saw these odd/cute shoes last year when I was visiting my home province of Newfoundland. I just had to have them.




Hope you aren't blinded by those fish-belly white legs. But isn't the dead teddy bear face just rockin'? I know....weird. But that's me.

Get well soon...or else!

So dearly beloved asked me why I was giving our neighbour, who just had shoulder surgery, a scary bear on his get well card. Well, I REALLY needed an excuse to use this digital stamp and I know my neighbour will crack up when he sees it! I just love this image - it is a digital stamp from The Greeting Farm - from their designs for House of Mental (totally love that company name).

Just printed the image twice, coloured then cut one of them out to pop up on the other. The sentiment was cuttlebugged.

AND....I got more new stamps today. The latest Verve release! This company is so cool. They included a "Smile" stamp to say thank you for the order. How nice is that?

Off Topic - what else is new

Hello bloggers!

A dear friend of mine who celebrates her birthday tomorrow is now a contributor to the Foodies blog. I think she has wonderful insights to share on dealing with meal preparation when you have a child with food sensitivities and about eating HOME made or HOME grown. And ... Well, I do have cards I need to photograph and post. Some are Christmas and some are not...they have to wait a little longer. I am busy trying to get organized for Jenn's all day crop on Saturday, May 2. My first crop!

Bellas!!!!!!

Yay.....I'm beginning to get really excited when my dearly beloved comes back from the mailbox with another of those bubble envelopes...today it was Da Bellas! and a Fella! and some Kettos!

My order from Stamping Bella arrived today and I was tickled!!!! Now to get them onto some EZ-Mount and use them!!!!

I just love the Kettos, they are SO adorable!

Time for a card

or two....

This card is a CASE of Jenn's card.... . But much less detailed.



Paper, heart image and sentiment are all CTMH. Ribbon is from Michael's ... awesome sale this week 4/$1. This card was for my dear friend and her husband who celebrated their 15th anniversary just last week. The green panel is cut with my nestabilities.

And finally I got to use one of my new Doodlefactory stamps (no they have not yet all been EZ-mounted...just Beezely). Guess what kind of card this is? Yup....a bee-lated birthday. Isn't that terrible? You would think I would have just raided my stash of cards but no, had to make this instead.


The flower is made with my peony nestabilities - layers of mulberry paper. Toss on a few dewdrops I got from PaperworksCo, some Stickles (also from PaperworksCo) on the wings....and some hand-doodled bee tracks and away we go. This belated birthday card was posted just today to a cousin of mine in Newfoundland who celebrated her birthday a couple of days ago.

Ta da......two cards!
