Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Everyone!

Hope your day is filled with chocolate bunnies, eggs, and marshmallow peeps!

Just thought I would share the Easter card I made for dearly beloved -  he is, after all, my favourite peep!

And this is a pint-sized container I decorated to hold a big bag of Lindt mini eggs for him (just a small portion of his chocolate Easter goodies).

And, yes - the Easter bunny really DID come by for a visit bright and early this morning.

After making all his deliveries overnight, he stopped by for a wee snack!

Spring is in the Air

Hi folks,

Today I'm one of the stops on the Close To My Heart Make It Crafty Blog Hop!

If you came here from Julie's Blog then you are on the right track! If you would like to check out the full list of participants, you can find it here!

This month - Spring is in the Air! No matter WHAT Mother Nature is saying outside your front door.

I don't know about you, but when I first saw the Penelope collection from CTMH, I KNEW I would be using it for fun, happy cards at this time of year.

With the launch of the Seasonal Expressions 1 Idea Book, CTMH changed the format of the paper packs so that every type of papercrafter could find something they liked all in one collection. Are you a traditional scrapbooker? A pocket scrapbooker? A journaler? A cardmaker?

Well, I am mostly a cardmaker. So, I decided to challenge myself to use the PML sheet included in the paper pack to make a few simple cards.

I wanted these to be post friendly so I kept the layers and embellishments to a minimum. What do you think? If you are a cardmaker and are feeling vexed about what to do with those PML cards - well, I hope that I have given you an inkling of how to put those cards to use!

Feel free to continue on with the hop at your next stop - I'm sure Lisa has something amazing in store for you!

March Promos from CTMH

Hi folks,

Just thought I would pop in to share this month's promotions from Close To My Heart.

Stampaganza returns again this year during the month of March.

That's correct! Buy any two stamp sets at regular price and get a third one free! No limit on the number of stamp sets you can order! A great time to stock up on the sets that will retire when the idea book in which they are featured expires! Seasonal Expressions 1 stamp sets will be retired at the end of April and the Annual Inspirations stamp sets will retire at the end of July. So - don't delay, if you have any stamp sets on your must-have list, March is DEFINITELY the month to add them to your collection! If you need a refresher on how Stampaganza works - check out this page on my shopping site.

The March 2016 Stamp of the Month is the very cute "Sunshine Birdies".

As usual, you can purchase this D-size stamp set for the regular price of $21.25 or, with a qualifying $50 purchase, you can add it to your order for just $6. Always a great deal!

Here's some artwork from CTMH Home Office featuring the March SOTM.

As a card-maker, I think that little card is just adorable.

Hope you are having a wonderful day - thanks for stopping by!

Happy Valentine's Day

Hi folks,

Just popping in to share the card I made for my sweetie for Valentine's Day.

Excuse the slightly wonky heart. In retrospect, there WAS an easier way to make this card. But I wanted the cut-outs and not layers - and I have a bad habit of NOT taping down my dies when I run them through the machine. So - shifting sometimes occurs and I didn't really notice it until after I was editing the photo. Oh well! One of these days I WILL learn.
