Have a Holly Jolly Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone!

Just popping in to share a few more cards I made using the Holly Jolly collection from Close To My Heart.

These four cards were for my sister's four youngest daughters.

The first three feature images I coloured from The Greeting Farm and were for the three youngest.

And this one is for her teenage daughter. The snowman is from the Holly Jolly Sticker sheet and the mat is a PML card!

I hope they like their cards!

As always thanks for stopping by.

CTMH Craft with Heart Card Making Subscription

Hi folks,

I just realized that I had forgotten to share the cards I made with my Sept-Dec shipment of my Craft With Heart Card Making Subscription from Close to My Heart.

The subscription makes two each of 12 different patterns but I switched mine up and made a few more!

Here's the standard set of cards:

And here are all of my makes!!! 30 cards in total - I'm stoked for the arrival of my next subscription box!

Because I have the annual subscription, each kit is $59.50 CDN. In addition to a mini ink pad, an acrylic block, AND an exclusive stamp set, I made 30 cards. A VERY good deal in my books - quite economical when you consider the price of store-bought cards!

December Cross Canada Blog Hop - Cedar and Pine

Hi folks!

Welcome to our December Cross Canada Blog Hop featuring the Cedar & Pine collection from Close To My Heart.

Whether you are a scrap-booker or card-maker, this collection has something for you.

If you've just hopped onto my blog, then you CAN start here as this is a circular hop. If you came from Rosalynd's blog then you are in the right place!

This month I'm actually featuring a decor item I made using the Cedar & Pine Picture My Life cards.

In the midst of switching my craft room and exercise room around, I came across this decorative tray stashed away in the old craft room closet. Technically, it's the exercise room closet but it remains annexed for craft room overflow. ANYWAYS......the tray is meant to feature 4 x 6 photos but I think that adding seasonal PML cards makes it a perfect holiday accent!

And, you can keep it up to date all year 'round!

That's it for me! Up next is Brandi's post!

Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we are able to inspire you in some way. If so, please leave us a comment as we love to hear back from the hoppers! We hope you are able to join us again next month. So be sure to mark January 10th on your calendar. And don't forget, you can reach out to your local consultant to purchase any of the items you see on the hop today!

As always, thanks for stopping by!

Wedding Celebrations

Hi folks,

Today I'm sharing the card I made for the recent wedding of one of the daughter's of a dear friend.

I've known her since birth so it was an honour to be invited to attend the celebration of this very special day. And the really cool thing? The Mr & Mrs on the sentiment were a match for wedding cake topper!

Celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary

Hi folks,

Just popping in to share the card and quilt I made for my parents for their 50th anniversary.

My renewed interest in quilting the last few years is one of the reasons why my card-making has kind of fallen by the wayside. But I'm finding quilting to be a very satisfying hobby at the moment so....that's just the way it is. There's only so many hours on the weekends and, these days, quilting fills those hours.

quilt details:

I started this quilt at the "Galentine's Day" workshop at Mad About Patchwork. The pattern is from the "I Heart You Quilt" pattern but I made mine a touch bigger. The original had only 16 hearts but I made this one with 25 hearts, each with two fabrics to represent my parents' 50 years of marriage.
