Yumi and Fumi Handmade Challenge #22 - Team Fumi

Hi folks,

Today I am sharing my Team Fumi creation for Challenge #22 over at the Yumi and Fumi Handmade Challenge Blog.

Challenge #22 is an inspiration photo challenge and you have until this coming Friday, August 30th to link up your challenge entry at the Y&FH challenge post for a chance to win!

Don't forget: you can now use ANY stamped image!!! You do have to use a hand-colored image on your project though! No "sentiment only" cards allowed. However, if you use a Y&FH image your name will be added a maximum of 1 extra time after the last name in Inlinkz. Remember also....only 1 entry per person. :)

Viva La Verve - August 2013 - Week 1

Hi folks!

I finally got around to going BACK and doing a card for the Viva La Verve August Week 1 sketch challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.

Here's the sketch:

and here's my card I made for my Uncle (want to guess how old he is going to be on his birthday?)

Now, the two diagonally cut pieces of paper are actually the front and back of the same sheet of patterned paper. However, because of the way I cut it (to get the Roman numerals across the top), the orientation of the keyhole side was wrong for pairing up on the same card so....I wound up cutting a second piece of paper to get the keyholes lined up properly. Since that left me with two more diagonally cut pieces of paper, I decided to make a second card for my stash with the diagonals aligned differently.

I quite like how both cards came out.

Unscripted Sketches - Flashback #69

Hi folks,

I gave myself permission to have a crafty day this weekend and got inky with some new stamps in my collection.

I felt like making some summery,  happy cards - just because - and this is one of the cards I created:
